I heard about this opportunity about two months before the event. I photographer that I had been following for some time now reached out and asked if I was going. Who me?! I was floored when she asked me... I responded quite frankly saying, I was way to "new and still learning my way around" to consider attending an event like that. Her response got my thinking instantly... "How do you think you are going to advance if you don't put yourself out there?" I thought to myself for a second... So and booked the ticket. I am so glad I did. It was an incredible experience, lots of highs but definitely some lows. I grew as an individual, mentally and emotionally. I flew across the country by myself, after only facetiming my soon to be "roommate" for the week. I know I want to pursue Boudoir Photography fulltime, and I know I have to step out of my comfort zone if I am going to make that happen. I know, crazy right? Most people think so. But the ones who matter most, have encouraged and supported me throughout the best and worst times of running a business doing something I love.
